OLIVIA putts to VICTORY in PGA Spanish Finals!

Year 12 Student Olivia stormed to victory in the PGA Spanish Finals recently and we couldn’t be more proud!

The Ligas PGA run tournaments throughout the year from different regions throughout Spain including the Canary Islands and with each tournament players gain points in order to qualify for the PGA Spanish finals.

The finals this year were held in La Sella and Olivia approached her tee nervously at 8.24am. However, as soon as her club connected with the ball Olivia´s nerves were calmed and she focused keenly on the competition ahead playing a stableford format.

Olivia told us she thoroughly enjoyed the tournament and with her strong drive and fantastic short game she accomplished a winning score of 36 points.

Next for Olivia is her scholarship at IMG during the summer months and Olivia told us she is very excited at the prospect of playing more golf with amazing talented people, while living in the dorms and experience all the USA has to offer.

Well done Olivia! Keep up the good work and we look forward to more exciting news from you in the future.
