PROCESO DE ADMISIÓN

PASO 1

  • Complete in its entirety and return the registration form. (Registration Form).
  • Payment of the registration fee ( 1.1500 non-refundable ) and send proof of said payment 

*Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee a place

PASO 2

Send:

  • A copy of the student’s NIE, DNI, Passport or proof of birth
  • A copy of the NIE, DNI or Passport (only in case of not having NIE or DNI) of the parents of students
  • Copy of school reports for the last two academic years translated into English or Spanish:

*Students who have been in a Spanish center need to provide a copy of the school reports since 1st of ESO or Graduated in ESO in case they have passed 4th of ESO

*Students who are going to study A-Level at our center need to provide a copy of the Secondary School Certificate from their country 

  • If your child receives educational support/reinforcement, has any psychopedagogical report and/or attends psychopedagogical or speech therapy, you MUST provide all evaluation reports and/or school evaluations.
  • Medical certificate and photocopy of vaccinations.

PASO 3

  • Se realizará un test para valorar el nivel de Inglés y Matemáticas de alumno

*Los resultados de ambos tests son propiedad del The Lady Elizabeth School y no será compartido con padres ni estudiantes

PASO 4

  • Only when all required documents up to this step are received will the Head of Primary or Head of Secondary recommend offering a place at The Lady Elizabeth School. 
  • The School Director will make the final decision , based on the recommendation and after having had an in-person or virtual interview.  
  • A formal offer letter will be sent to the family, signed by the Director of the School, as well as the  Acceptance Form (acceptance form)  and  Terms and Conditions of contract for the parents.
  • The place will remain reserved for 10 days (from the time the offer letter was recieved). If acceptance is not confirmed within the allotted time, the place may be offered to another student. (Please, contact the College so that we can inform you about your admission).

PASO 5

  • To reserve your place, the  Acceptance Form  must be completed, signed and sent back to the Admissions Director, along with proof of payment of the  Deposit  (€500 EU/€2000 NON-EU) which will be refundable*.

*Refundable as long as written notice is given one quarter in advance and all fees have been paid up to that time.  

  • The Form of Payment document , which will indicate how the fees will be paid, must be completed, signed and returned. 

PASO 6

Después de que la oferta haya sido formalizada, el Departamento de Admisiones enviará la Carta de Aceptación firmada por el Director del Colegio, junto con los siguientes documentos los cuales pueden ser requeridos para solicitar la VISA.

PASO 7

They will be given a  Welcome Pack  containing a certain number of documents and forms which must be completed and returned to the Director of Admissions before the first day of school start.

POLÍTICA DE ADMISIÓN

FOUNDATION

There are no prerequisites for a child applying to Foundation.

If a child has special needs, the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Department will be involved in the admissions process to ensure that Lady Elizabeth School can provide the support required. If the school does not have adequate resources to cover the needs, the family will be informed and we will recommend alternatives.

PRIMARIA

When applying for a place for a child in Primary, Lady Elizabeth School requires all previous school report cards.

We will offer the student an opportunity to come to the school for a Trial Day to learn more about the school and to ensure a smooth transition.

Primary students will be offered a place at Lady Elizabeth School if it is agreed that the school can meet the student’s learning needs.

KS3

Students who apply for a place in Secondary will have to provide the school report cards for the previous two years. 

Prospective future students will be invited to spend a Trial Day at Lady Elizabeth School. The Director of Secondary will collect information on the academic levels and the involvement of the student with the program and will communicate this information to the Admissions Department. If a child is unable to attend, alternative arrangements, such as a virtual interview will take place to learn more about their talents and interests as part of the admissions process.

KS4

Students applying to Secondary Key Stage 4 must provide Lady Elizabeth School with school report cards for the previous two years.

Prospective future students will be invited to spend a Trial Day at Lady Elizabeth School. The Director of Secondary will collect information on the academic levels and the involvement of the student with the program and will communicate this information to the Admissions Department. 

If a child is unable to attend, alternative arrangements, such as a virtual interview will take place to find out more about their talents and interests (as well as their preferences for GCSE courses) as part of the admissions process.

6TH FORM

Students applying for a place in the 6th form of Secondary must provide Lady Elizabeth School with the school report cards for the previous two years.

Applicants will be required to sit an entrance test in mathematics and English if they have not achieved the required national level in these subjects. The choice of subjects may be limited depending on your results in previous exams. 

The Sixth Form Head will interview prospective students (preferably in person, although virtual options are possible) and, in collaboration with the Head of Secondary, will forward their feedback to the Admissions Department.
